(译者coptue:最近听到了太多的传言说苹果8月到9月会发布一款Apple Tablet的产品。这个产品比iPod Touch大，拥有更大触摸屏，尺寸估计在10寸左右，带有3G连接，用的是苹果的OS，价格在600到1000美金左右，还煞有介事的放出一些产品图片出来。另外，一些消息称台湾鸿海正在代工做这些产品。

而我，对此深表质疑。我虽不是苹果的Fans，但是基于对苹果产品和设计理念的了解，我一直都是质疑苹果即便将这个东西整出来，究竟靠那些卖点来打动消费者呢？仅仅是因为它是苹果造的吗？
可惜很多国内媒体上都没有看到一些深度的分析和质疑文章，而来自Gizmodo的这篇文章则带来一些新意，可能它说的不全对，但是起码带来一些思考。显然，多思考一点比迷信更好。

我知道自己很”罗嗦”，很多读者都在批评，但是毕竟其中很多概念和术语以及一些背景知识为普通所不熟悉，所以我才罗嗦的加以注释。对于熟悉这些背景知识的人来说，我翻译的文章的确影响了他们的阅读体验。)

对于苹果即将发布Apple Tablet(coptue:可以翻译成apple平板设备，不过很晦涩,还是用原文吧)产品的众多传言，每个人都有自己的看法，但是有人真正思考过苹果发布这个产品将会遇到的问题吗？事实上的确会遭遇到很多问题。

想想看，很多传言说apple tablet产品是一部体积更大的带有3G连接的iPod touch。 嗯～，它是一部上网本，对吗？但是看看我们周围，遍布了300美金的上网本。消费者真的准备好800美金购买一部带有触摸屏、苹果设计的漂亮上网本吗？

当然，那些苹果的粉丝愿意花大价钱购买苹果发布的任何新产品，但是对于我们大部分人而言它真值的我们为之着迷吗？

请思考一下以下的关于apple tablet一些卖点(coptue:所谓卖点，就是卖东西给消费者时能够打动消费者的关键特性，吸引人的卖点是一个产品得以流行的核心动力)相关的疑问

电子书阅读器


大家说apple tablet打算把Kindle(coptue:亚马逊Amazon的电子书阅读器，专门用来看电子书，亚马逊有一个庞大的电子书库和销售网站)作为竞争对手。但有个事实不会改变——将一个类似笔记本电脑的东西拿在手中和手捧一本的感觉截然不同。更何况apple tablet上用的是LCD屏幕(coptue: kindle用的是E-ink屏幕技术。对于TFT-LCD和E-ink最大的区别在于长时间阅读的舒服度。E-ink技术的屏幕有点类似我们普通生活中的书籍，靠太阳光或者灯光的反射来看清文字，而TFT LCD屏幕会自己发光，长时间阅读后会感觉眼睛刺痛。应该说，人类更适合于和阳光的反射一起生活)，而且很多人本来就不大喜欢读书，无论使用elink的kindle还是纸张读物。另外，apple tablet的成本要比kindle高得多。

网上冲浪的工具
你完全可以用更少的钱来买一个上网本，它能达到同样的效果。

iTunes 唱片包 (coptue：请注意iTunes Album Art这个词，最近才出现。苹果公司和全球大的四家唱片公司一起合作，准备在其iTunes销售网站上卖歌曲和唱片时，将与歌曲相关的图片，视频，游戏，电影等等一起打包销售，以便于为用户提供增值和方便，并增加唱片业的销售收入)
这只是个附加功能，谈不上一个产品的卖点

的确，在iPhone上面玩游戏让人很不舒服，因为屏幕小经常手指头会挡住自己的视线。不过最讨厌的东西不是这个，而是触摸屏。在iPhone上让人游戏体验下降的正是触摸屏本身，而不是触摸屏面积太小。(coptue:截至目前来看，大部分人的游戏体验还是来自于使用手柄或者数字键盘，用手指触摸来玩游戏很多人都不习惯)

另外使用平板触摸面板的产品创意还有一些隐患问题。比如

文字输入方式


不知道你有没有想过怎样舒服的在这个东西上输入字符？是将它平放在桌子上，还是放在膝盖上？如何将字符敲进电脑？你使用拇指在iphone上输入字符，那是因为它是部手机，在手机上我们都这么做，而且很舒服。笔记本电脑上用键盘敲字符进去比较舒服是因为屏幕和键盘有一定的角度，所以整体上很舒服。但是这个东西呢？(coptue:从某种程度上说，原文的作者是个用户体验学家，擅长于深入分析用户体验的细节。注意到apple tablet这个东西体积大，重量大，捧在手中如何以一个合适的屏幕角度输入字符的确是个问题)

应用软件


不知道apple tablet是不是打算修改移植iPod touch上的操作系统，还是从apple OS X上裁剪一个操作系统？(coptue: 尽管iPod touch的OS是从Mac OS上移植下来的，但毕竟针对便携式设备有了很多的改变，而如果将apple tablet定义成电脑，也许可以使用比较完整的OS 10版本)。如果apple tablet被定义成一个“大的ipod touch”，那么那些为ipod touch设计的应用软件必须要做一些改变，因为apple tablet的分辨率和交互机制和iPod touch有些不同。但是想想值得这样做吗？难道又有一个新的并针对apple tablet的应用程序商店出来？让你为了同样的应用在apple ipod touch和apple tablet上重复购买两次？而且在应用软件方面又如何将apple tablet和iPod touch及macbook笔记本之间做区隔？(coptue:毕竟苹果运做着从手机到Macbook笔记本等数条产品线，他们之间必须要有明确的区隔和覆盖范围，无论软件还是硬件，不能自己跟自己打架而顾此失彼，也就是说对苹果而言，考虑问题必要要系统化，而非片面的集中在一点)

性能


iPhone在上网方面并非是最便捷的，但是我们还算基本满意，毕竟只它是一部手机。而apple tablet更像是一台笔记本电脑，我们对于笔记本电脑的期望值可不低。Apple tablet拥有上网本的硬件性能，但是因为缺乏实体键盘让我们得不到笔记本电脑带来的相同体验。既然如此，干嘛不多加点钱购买一部Macbook Pro呢？

现在还不确定这个东西是不是卖700～800美金的价钱？嗯～想想看，一个造型优美提醒纤细的平板设备横空出世，在万众瞩目和期待中发布，看起来很吸引人。

不过想想Macbook Air(coptue:可以装进A4信封的笔记本电脑，全球轻薄，13.3寸屏幕，不过价钱昂贵并有过热的问题，卖得也一般) 最初发布的景象：当我们看到虽然这个轻巧的笔记本外形漂亮新颖，但是价格却比同类的产品贵上了两倍，热情也就逐渐消退了下来。

而且最后我再强调一遍：现在经济可是不怎么好。除非苹果能够给apple tablet打出一张王牌功能，否则最好不要将这个东西卖到500美金以上。我想如果超过这个价钱，不会有太多人喜欢它。

当然，也许我低估了苹果设计的价值，也许这个东西会远远超乎我的想象给我们带来意想不到的创意，也值得我们花大价钱把它买下来。这样就最好，我也期待它很特别。
